The Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament is set to enter its one-day phase, featuring three highly competitive teams battling for glory. The tournament will kick off with an exciting clash between Blasters and Dynamites. Challengers, who tasted victory in the T20 phase, will commence their campaign on May 25 when they face Blasters. The teams will compete against each other in a double round-robin format, with the two top-ranked sides after the match on June 2 advancing to the final showdown.

Muneeba Ali, the captain of Blasters, remains optimistic despite their winless run in the T20 phase. She expressed confidence in her team, emphasizing the importance of each player taking responsibility and performing to their potential. Ali is eager for her squad to learn from their previous mistakes and make a strong comeback in the one-day phase.

Omaima Sohail, the captain of Challengers, is confident in her team’s abilities. Sohail highlighted the good form of their bowlers and the runs scored by their top-order batswomen. Sidra Amin, the skipper of Dynamites, is buoyed by her team’s impressive performances in the T20 phase, where they secured two wins. Amin acknowledged that cricket is an unpredictable game, but she remains confident in her team’s abilities. She emphasized the importance of staying focused and capitalizing on opportunities. Amin credited the senior players for stepping up and leading the team to success.
