[Preview] The much anticipated Aangan goes on air today

Set in the 1940s, the highly anticipated period drama serial Aangan is set to premiere on HUM TV on December 20, 2018.

Produced under the banner of Momina Duraid Productions and written by Mustafa Afridi, the period drama serial is based on a novel written by famed novelist Khadija Mastoor by the same title.

The story highlights the epic tale of Muzaffar Ali Khan’s family and their journey from riches to rags. Rash and short-sighted decisions, family feuds, changing cultural values and clashing political ideologies divide the family even before the division of the subcontinent.

Directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, the play boasts a stellar cast including Abid Ali, Ahsan Khan, Mawra Hussain, Sajal Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, Sonya Hussayn, Hira Salman, Omair Tahir Rana, Hasan Noman Qureshi, Madiha Rizvi, Mahjabeen Beena Masroor, Mustafa Bilal, Nargis Bhatti, Zaib Rehman, Shumaail Khan, Uzma Baig, Rabia Butt and Ali Rizvi among others.
