Hum TV Network is launching new Urdu Drama Serial Udaari. Udaari is produced by Momina Duraid (MD Productions) and Kashf Foundation in collaboration with the Canadian Government.
The plot of Udaari carries a very grave issue onto mainstream television. The story set in Mirpur Khas highlights the multifaceted and stern issue of child abuse, music and the taboos associated with it. Udaari is an entwined story of Sajida, Zebo, Imtiaz, Rashida, Meeran and Taimoor and their struggle to reclamation and glory. The serial has a astral cast including Bushra Ansari, Samiya Mumtaz, Behroze Sabzwari, Laila Zuberi, and rising stars Farhan Sayeed, Ahsan Khan and Urwa Hocane.
Udaari is penned by novelist Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Ehteshamuddin. Udaari airs every Sunday Sunday at 8:00 pm.
