Raaz-e-Ulfat in Review: Ismail or Irtiza—Who is Mushk going to choose?

One of our favorite dramas by 7th Sky Entertainment Raaz-e-Ulfat seems to be drawing towards closure after all the truth is out about what Sehba did with Mushk. The problem that is left to be resolved now is whom Mushk will choose to be her life partner—Irtiza or Ismail. The episode that aired last night was a happening one as Sehba’s entire plotting against Mushk with Nomi was revealed in front of everyone including Irtiza’s parents.

As Irtiza’s parents find out about Sehba, they refuse to get their son married to Sehba and hence, Sehba reacts by taking Nomi’s life. Nomi, in an attempt to throw the gun from Sehba’s hand, throws a pot on her head, which injures her and it looks like she also dies succumbing to the injuries. Sehba calls Irtiza and Mushk to come and visit her in the hospital and asks for their forgiveness. Both of them forgive her after which she closes her eyes.

Meanwhile, we did not see any progress in Mushk and Irtiza’s relationship. Mushk is still not able to decide whom she should choose to live with for the rest of her life. Where at one hand, she is appreciative of the qualities of Ismail and how he has supported her every step of the way after Irtiza left her midway, she is still unable to forget Irtiza and her love for him. She knows that Irtiza left her and did not trust her when she needed it, but she still reminisces the good and loving time they spent together. With her head and heart favoring Ismail and Irtiza respectively, she is now at the crossroads and we are anxiously waiting to find out who will Mushk choose.

The preview of the next episode suggests that Mushk will give her decision in Irtiza’s favor and leave Ismail and his house. However, we do not know yet whether this is going to be true or something will happen that will make Mushk change her decision. Hence, we are totally invested in Raaz-e-Ulfat currently and eagerly waiting for the next episode to find out more about Mushk’s decision.

Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s Raaz e Ulfat had us gripped throughout – and even when the end is near we can’t tell which way the story will go!
