Once again, we have almost reached the climax of a 7th Sky Entertainment drama, and till the last episode, we aren’t sure how the dust will settle. Raaz e Ulfat is another drama under the tutelage of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, which has kept us hooked till the very end.
The reason is fairly simple. Mushk, in her own words, stands at a crossroads. There is a path that leads to Irtiza – someone who hasn’t proven worthy of her trust in the past but promises that he has changed. But Mushk seems intent on treading that path again, at least thus far. On the other hand, is Ismail. Someone who has given so much to Mushk without ever asking for anything in return. He came to her aid when needed and is now willing to walk away if she desires.
Next week, we will see the last episode and see what path Mushk will decide to walk on. Her family, i.e., her mother and sister, can see the larger picture, clear as the day. Irtiza is also putting pressure on her to reach a conclusion. But eventually, it is a fight between the heart and the mind. So, Mushk decides to take the easy route and stresses that she is not worthy of Ismail. This basis to end thing seems fairly weak, to be honest. It is a copout if she does end up blaming herself but still walking away.
The allure of first love, especially for someone like Mushk, who comes from a conservative family, is understandable. But at the same time, she also has bonded with the children and sister of her husband. Whatever path she decides to walk, it will be an extremely difficult choice. Give up on a safe future in the hope of finding an answer for your unrequited past. That is the case in simple words. That is the question Mushk will be answering by her actions.
