Rabia Butt to make her small screen acting debut as Kusum in Aangan

Supermodel turned actress Rabia Butt is all set to make her small screen debut with the much anticipated period drama serial Aangan.

In the latest revelations about the show, it is confirmed that Rabia Butt will be playing the role of a Hindu girl Kusum.

This Pre-partition-era drama is directed by Ehteshamuddin and is written by Mustafa Rizvi. The story is based on the award-winning novel ‘Aangan’ which was written by Khadija Mastoor. Aangan also stars Ahsan Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Mawra Hocane and Sonya Hussyn among others.

The release date of the drama has not been revealed as yet.
