Rain Halts Second Women’s ODI Between Pakistan and England

The second ODI between Pakistan Women and England Women was abandoned due to persistent rain, with play being halted in the seventh over of Pakistan’s innings and never resuming.

The match, part of the ICC Women’s Championship, resulted in both teams earning one point each. This brings Pakistan’s total to 17 points in the Championship. This series marks the eighth and final series for Pakistan in this Championship cycle.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, reaching 29 without loss when rain interrupted play. Sidra Amin and Sadaf Shams were unbeaten on 7 and 18 runs respectively.

The third and final ODI of the series is scheduled to be played on May 29 in Chelmsford. Prior to this ODI series, England had won the T20I series 3-0.
