News anchor, TV presenter, broadcast journalist, program anchor and Youtuber Ramsha Kanwal has returned to City News Network. After a break of more than a year from the TV screen the anchor will be seen on the newly launched City 21.
Ramsha took on to her twitter to make this announcement.

She was at the CM Sindh House in Karachi for the launching ceremony of the new channel of Mohisn Naqvi Group, CIty21 – a Karachi based regional news channel
Ramsha was last seen on TV back in 2020 when she hosted the the morning show of 92 News, Subh Savaray Pakistan. Now on City 21 Ramsha will be hosting the show News Night.
While talking to MediaSpringPK, Ramsha Kanwal said:
“It is really good to be back at work after a long break. Coming with the new energy to continue my passion. People would be watching me in new role among them. I will be hosting the show ‘News Night with Ramsha Kanwal’ on City 21 at 8pm.
“The show is all about the voice and issues of people. I will be among them to listen to them and raise voice for them. The show is going to be different from the issues of politicians and only politics.
“Thanks all who have been connected with me and eagerly waiting for my comeback on screen. Need wishes and prayers and the same love that my fans and family has always given me.”
Ramsha Kanwal started her career in 2011 with Geo news as an intern reporter, later she worked with Dawn News as a reporter. Her news anchoring break came with Samaa in 2013.
She joined Aaj News in May 2014 and became ace news anchor of the channel. In 2015, Ramsha moved to Lahore to join newly established 24 News the national TV channel of City News Network, for the channel she not only did news anchoring but also hosted various shows and transmissions.
She returned to Karachi in 2017, and joined Bol TV network as an anchor and content manager for Pak TV, but that stint did not last long and she took a break from TV in 2018. Later that year she once again moved to Lahore and joined Public News as programme anchor and remained with the network till April 2019.
She remained in Karachi till January 2020 and took a break from work to focus on her family and child. She returned to the TV screen and Lahore in January 2020 as the morning show host for 92 News’ Subh Savaray Pakistan. She had to move to Karachi during the pandemic outbreak to stay with her family. Conducting the show from Karachi was not a long term solution therefore she left the show and channel.
After her disasosation with TV she kept producing content for her YouTube channel and been active on her social media. Earlier this year she went into talks with Moshin Naqvi Group about her return to the City News Network with the new channel of the group.
Her show News Night will air on weekdays at 8 pm on City 21
