One drama which is keeping us glued to the screen despite being on air for quite some time now is the Mikaal Zulfiqar and Hiba Bukhari starrer: Ramz-e-Ishq. An emotional love story that has all the elements of a blockbuster drama- Ramz-e-Ishq has an ensemble cast and a unique storyline.
Penned down by Misbah Nosheen, the writer has teamed up with the ace producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi of 7th Sky Entertainment who are busy giving out one hit after another, keeping the audiences entertained.
With the unexpected turn of events in the plot, the drama has caught our undivided attention now. Having seen Rayan spend so much time with Roshni in the hospital where her mother is sick, it gave viewers the idea that he would finally take a stand for her in front of his family. Though, the latest development indicates that Rayan and Roshni’s love story will face a new trial soon.
Umar (Gohar Rasheed) on the other hand has decided to leave Roshni and pursue a new life in the UK. Finally, Roshni’s grandfather (Abid Ali) has found out that Umar has left, and we have a feeling that the coming episodes will see plenty of Umar as he will be made to come back by hook or crook.
A tale which revolves around family politics and a love triangle, Ramz-e-Ishq stands out from the rest of the plays because its treatment is different. Directed by Siraj ul Haq, we simply love how each scene is so well planned and beautifully shot that you can’t help but admire the cinematography.
Talking about the actors on board, Mikaal Zulfiqar fits perfectly as Rayan, as he performs his character with such conviction that you can’t help but admire him. As for the female leads, Hiba Bukhari wins you over each time with her simplicity. Other than that, an actress whom we are glad to see take on diverse roles is Kiran Haq as she makes you hate Rania with ease.
We can’t wait to watch out in the next episode if Rayan will agree to marry Rania under pressure. Will he be willing to sacrifice his happiness for his mother or will he remain true to his words?
