Lahore based multifaceted broadcast journalist, Summaira Mirza is now part of PTV Network where she will be hosting the 11 pm show Current Affairs Special on PTV News.
Summaira made the announcement on her social media when she shared screen-grabs from her show:

Hailing from Vehari, Summaira has been on a break from mainstream media screen and was producing videos for her Youtube channel – Insaf News.
While talking to MediaSpringPK TV anchor said:
“Constant and continuous struggle makes us enable to have which we want to achieve from very long time and God has set the time for everything so be patient and you will see it will be your. Joining PTV is indeed part of this struggle and looking forward to contribute through my show with constructive and healthy debate.”
Summaira holds a masters degree in Mass Communications from Bahauddin Zakariya University and did her MBA from Allama Iqbal Open University. She started her career in 2014 with Kohenoor TV as a producer. Her news anchoring career started in 2014 with Royal News. In 2015, she joined 24 News as a news anchor and later also worked on Rohi TV. In 2016, she joined 7 News for a brief stint and later became part of 92 News HD where she was as news anchor and programme host. Her last TV channel was TV today where she worked as proggramme anchor.
