The Infinix Hot 3 is the newst addition to the Infinix Hot series that is now available in Pakistan. The smartphone Infinix Hot 3 is comes in an affordable price that is just under Rs. 10 K (9,999 Rupees to be exact) and it is available at daraz.pk. In first glance this very smartphone looks decent and light yet powerful device, we decided to look a little deep and craft a review of it after using it for a week so here is how we found this sturdy phone – Infinix Hot 3.

Long Story short:

The biggest positive of Infinix Hot 3 is its price. With the gigantic display and improved battery of 3000 mAh this smartphone is quite an option with the price of 9,999 rupees. Design and display of the phone is decent and it is light weight for its size. This phone is a dependable option for the minor video recording and photography, the dedicated mic with active noice cancelation enhances the recording experience and back camera of the phone takes decent photographs. We had no problem in using the older version of android but the only problem we had was that the phone only have 1GB ram that makes device to start performing slow when a heavier app (even Facebook) is used on the phone.

Design

Infinix Hot 3 has gigantic 5.5 inches HD IPS display that supports resolution up to be 1280 x 720 pixel. The screen of the phone brings clear display with least issue of angle view becuse of its 320 dpi. The upfront of Infinix Hot 3 is decorated with big 5.5” monster screen. Infinx Hot 3 is light weight and handy for its size. the screen to body ratio is a little over 70%. On the front top there is front camera and ear piece but no LED for notifications. In the bottom there are touch operating navigation keys. slot for USB/charging cable and audio jack are located on the top of the device, both volume control and power buttons are on the right side of the phone, microphone spot is on the bottom left keeping left side of the phone free and clean. This smartphone is only 8 millimeters thick. The back cover is made of poly-carbonate, back also featuring spots for camera, LED flash and dedicated noise canceling microphone. Phone supports double sim and MicroSD slots for these are under the back cover and can be accessed after removing the battery of the phone (Yes a drawback as usually MicroSD mounting/un-mounting does not require removing battery)

Processor:

Infinix Hot 3 is has Quad-core, Media Tek 6580 chipset that runs at the clock speed of 1.3 GHz and this processor comes from the mid-range family of Media Tek. processor is powerful enough to let user play mobilephone games on the phone surprsingly 1GB RAM compliments this too.

Memory:

Infinix Hot 3 has 1GB RAM since I usually have used phones with 2GB RAM or above therefore at few points I found 1GB ram causing slowdown of the process. Phone has internal 16GB memory which can be expand through Micro-SD card upto 32 GB more.

Camera:

Infinix Hot 3 comes with 8 MP camera on the back and 2 MP front selfie camera (selfie shooter). The camera App has user friendly interface that allows switiching through various modes easily.  The rear camera has resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixel with native ratio 4:3. The picture quality of camera is up to par and reasonable on top of it camera captures the light and color well when shooting indoor while in outdoor shoot such details are missing int he captured image. The 2MP selfie shooter has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the allows making 82 degrees wider selfie as well as capturing 480P video. The front camera produces pretty soft images and if you have selfie obsession Infinix Hot 3 will not disappoint you.

Battery Performance:

Infinix Hot 3 has 3000mAh battery that fully supports the 5.5 inches display and surprisingly battery performance is quite good and very stable. The standby is impressively long, it lasted more than a day for me using it on GSM calls, texts, Wifi, and video streaming. Hiwever, the experience might differ if it is used on 3G. The Ultra Power mode that shuts down background Apps, is an option to save battery bars when you desperately need it.

Interface:

Infinix Hot 3 features Android 5.1 Lollipop which is customized to its own XUI 1.H.0.1 interface. Home screen has icons and application menu key in center that opens up another activity to all the installed Apps. The home screen are automatically create new slide if icons are drag left right. Infinx Hot 3 comes with various  pre-installed Apps like Daraz.pk officially app, xender, PalmPlay, Font manager, and scoail media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and google apps etc

Final Word:

Infinix Hot 3 is a smartphone of good quality that also has style, handiness and elegance. It has useful & adequate hardware, improved battery capacity, decent camera, up to par screen display. Infinx Hot 3 is certainly a great option if you want a smartphone under the range of RS. 10,000/-  that too with competent and reasonable specs.
