Mobile Review Time: This is new giant from Samsung in the ‘Note series’! Samsung Note 5. This huge sized device comes with a screen of 5.7 inches. Samsung as always has provided a calibrator with the note series phone which makes it easier to use than with a finger.
The processor is 1.5 Quad-core with a 4 GB Ram so you very well can imagine what a Performance it gives when it comes to apps multi tasking and with a 4GB ram it definitely would never lag. I used 11 different applications at one time and the phone not even once lagged or slowed down. For a change this Samsung device doesn’t heat up. Yes, all those Phones from the Samsung Galaxy Series to the Note 4 all have heated up after a certain amount of usage. I played Asphalt 8 on it and for a change the phone never picked up the heat. If we move towards the ultimate privacy feature of the Note 5, the best part of it is the thumb impression based screen lock which is far smoother than that of an IPhone6/6Plus and many a times better than the Samsung Galaxy s6. I’ve had a long and great experience using the device iPhone 6 and I can tell you very contextually that this device Samsung Note 5 has a far better finger print lock screen.
The phone comes in both 32 and 64 GB of internal space with no option of an additional memory card which can be considered a huge short coming.
Coming towards the body and the built, it definitely isn’t the best looking phone Samsung has made in the past 1 year or so as its very metallic body wise and I can tell you it could have been much more like the note 4 which was smoother and sleeker in design. I’ve had great time playing with the Samsung Note 4 edge which is one pretty device when it comes to the smooth surface on the back.
The battery of this device is 3000 MAH which for such a huge device can be pretty below part at times of data plan usage considering the other average phones are giving much par. The battery life has worsened can be seen from the very basic fact that the Samsung Note 4 had a battery life of 3200 MAH. I’ve had a look at both the cameras and the back camera is a 13 Megapixel with 4K video recording which adds up to the beauty of the phone.
Record a 4K video on your Samsung Note 5 and Play it on your Samsung 4K TV and see the result. The Samsung Note 5 comes with a 5 megapixel front camera as well which is specifically meant for ‘Selfies’. It’s not us who are being biased towards this device rather you can clearly compare the results of it with an Iphone 6/6Plus at GSMarena.com!
The Color availability adds up to the beauty of it as it comes in four colors which are Black (Which usually is dark blue), white, gold and Silver.Till this date only the black and gold are available right now. It comes with the latest android 5.1 and further updates would take place as android moves upwards with them. The device belongs to my friend who’s been an apple user since the time of the first generation iPhone and has had a long 8 months exposure to even the iPhone 6 plus but he definitely found this device as a much more impressive one and well when an apple fan says an Samsung device is good I can tell you nothing can be compared to that for a compliment. 82k is the market price for this beast of a phone while you purchase it for 840$ from AT&T.
Good work. Keep writing and also review some of the other phones that are available in the market.
