Saad Baig to Lead Pakistan U19 Squad in One-Day Series Against Sri Lanka U19

Saad Baig will continue to captain Pakistan U19 in the upcoming five-match one-day series against Sri Lanka U19 to be held in Karachi. This decision comes after Pakistan U19 secured a convincing nine-wicket victory over Sri Lanka U19 in the solitary four-day match played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

The junior selection committee, headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq, has finalized the 18-member squad for the one-day series, which is scheduled from October 22 to 31 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Saad Baig, who previously led Pakistan U19 during the tour of Bangladesh earlier this year, will have a team that includes six players who were part of the playing XI in the recently concluded four-day match. Notable players in this lineup include Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Ibtisam, Mohammad Ismail, and Shahzaib Khan. Arafat Minhas and Shamyl Hussain were also part of the Pakistan Shaheens team that participated in the Top End Series in Darwin, Australia.
