British-Pakistani model Sabeeka Imam has called it quits with model Hasnain Lehri. Sabeeka Imam took to her instagram earlier today and made the heart breaking announcement in her own words:
Her caption was titled ‘The End’ as famous model Sabeeka Imam penned her heart down while confirming her long term relationship with Hasnain Lehri had ended.
The fact that she chose to upload the most adorable pictures of the two explains her state of mind, as she went onto write about how tired she was of people questioning her status.
She started off by saying, “And so this journey officially comes to an end. It has been a long time since we both realised that our paths are destined to be separate. After multiple attempts and much consideration we have called it quits.” Admitting that the two had realised things could not work out the way they planned.
Imam then went onto address how exhausting it was to have people question her status “I am sharing this on social media because I’m tired of answering questions about my status and going through interrogations about why. I’m tired of people’s opinions and involvement.”
Reiterating how she was in fact, simply tired of pretending things were okay just to make an appearance.
“I’m tired of pretending that things are okay so that I can keep a facade going. I’m tired of people assuming that I’m engaged or getting married. There was a proposal but unfortunately it did not materialise due to irreconcilable differences.”
She ended off her caption with a request to not poke at old wounds any longer. “I would like to request everyone to just let this difficult time pass as our friends and families are involved and I don’t want them to go through any further pain or disappointment.”
The two had confirmed they were dating on October 11, 2018 and rumours about their engagement had also sparked.
Sabeeka’s Insta story may indicate that she has a sense of humour about the breakup too:
The pair made a beautiful couple and we’re sorry to see them part. We wish them both the best and are glad to see they are still on friendly terms. It’s always hard to completely erase someone from your life when they’ve been a major part of it for so long.
