Sadaf, Aliya, and Gull Feroza Lead Victories in National Women’s T20 Tournament 

The seventh round of the National Women’s T20 Tournament 2023/24 witnessed thrilling encounters as Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi emerged victorious in matches held across venues in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

In a match live-streamed on PCB’s YouTube channel, Lahore displayed dominance against Quetta at Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium. After restricting Quetta to a modest 93-6, Lahore comfortably chased down the target with Sadaf Shamas and Sidra Amin guiding their side to victory. Sadaf’s unbeaten half-century earned her the Player of the Match accolade.

At Ayub Park Ground, Rawalpindi clinched a nail-biting last-ball victory against Karachi in a closely contested encounter. Rawalpindi captain Aliya Riaz played a captain’s knock, scoring an unbeaten 67 to steer her team to a five-wicket win. Her stellar performance with the bat earned her the Player of the Match award.

Meanwhile, Multan secured a comprehensive seven-wicket win over Peshawar at Diamond Cricket Ground. Multan skipper Gull Feroza led from the front with an unbeaten half-century, guiding her team to victory and earning the Player of the Match honors.

With the tournament progressing, the competition is heating up, promising more excitement and thrilling cricket action in the upcoming rounds. All six teams will feature in the eighth round of matches on 26 January, with the clash between Multan and Lahore set to be live-streamed on PCB’s YouTube channel.
