Broadcast journalist and news anchor Sadaf Yasir has joined the City News Network as a program anchor on City 41. Earlier this year, Sadaf moved to Faisalabad with her family and now she is part of the Faisalabad-based regional news channel of Mohsin Naqvi Group.

Sadaf will be hosting City 41 version of News Night.

Previously known as Sadaf Shaukat, the anchor shared this news on her social media.

While talking to MediaSpring Pk Sadaf said:

“I had to take a break last year because of pragnency and after that I wanted to give time to my daughter. Earlier this year I did get a couple of offers from Lahore based channels but I had already moved to Faisalabad. Now I have joined City 41, which is based in Faislabad, It is good as I do not have to move cities again. At the same time, It is really exciting to be back on screen as I never wanted to end my six-year long career just like that. It will be a challenge to strike a balance between the job and the mommy duties, but I am up for that challenge.”

Sadaf is a media studies graduate from Bahaudin Zikria University, Multan. She started her career in media in 2013 as an associate producer at Capital TV in Islamabad and she remained with the channel for nearly two years.
