The Rohingya, called the most persecuted people on Earth by The Economist, are facing a volley of discriminatory laws against them which have bare them off their voting rights and have been thrown away from their homes, and have been on the getting end of sectarian ferocity in the Buddhist-majority country.

A projected 1.3 million Rohingya have been killed in Rakhine, one of Myanmar’s poorest states, whereas thousands are stuck in displacement camps and several thousand trapped out in the sea.
