Saim Ayub, a promising young cricketer from Karachi, has shared his inspiring journey to representing Pakistan in an interviewl. Saim Ayub, who recently made his debut for the national team, recounted how he started playing cricket in the flats of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi, and eventually made his way to the national squad.
Ayub, who is a left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, made his debut for Pakistan in a T20 match against Afghanistan earlier this year. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play for the national team and promised to keep working hard to make his country proud.
“I am honored to be part of the Pakistan cricket team, and I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my journey,” Ayub said. “I will continue to work hard and give my best on the field to make my country proud.”
Ayub also shared his aspirations for the future, saying that he wants to be a consistent performer for Pakistan and help the team win matches. “I want to be a valuable member of the team and contribute to its success in every way possible,” he said.
Saim said that it was his wish to share the crease with Babar Azam and that happened when both opened the innings for Peshawar Zalmi in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League Season 8. He said that it was a moment of accomplishment and emotions when he scored a fifty and got appreciation from his captain from the other side of the pitch.
Saim said that it is cricekt that taught him how to learn. “There is a lot that i still need to learn from cricket,” said the stylish left hand batter.
