Saira Shakira held an exclusive preview of their latest bridal collection, “Zohra” at their flagship store located in Galleria mall in Lahore on November 15th. Following the preview, Saira Shakira also hosted an exhibition the next day i.e., November 16, 2016 open for the public.
Speaking about their latest collection, Saira Faisal and Shakira Usman of Saira Shakira said,
“Zohra is all about celebrating the elegance and beauty of women. Our collection was first showcased at the PLBW 2016. We felt that through this exclusive preview, we would be able to give our patrons a chance to view the collection first-hand and experience the true essence of what it means to be a Saira Shakira woman.”
Zohra, as the name suggests, has been inspired from the elegance and beauty of women. The collection consists of a total number of 15 womenswear couture creations featuring intricate handwork and embroideries over contemporary cuts and muted pastel tones such as, ivory, jade, powder blush et al. Fabrics such as tulle, chiffon, organza have been used to create luxe ensembles.
Saira Faisal & Shakira Usman, both graduates and distinction holders from Pakistan School of Fashion Design, are the principal designers of the brand. Saira Faisal has worked as a fashion model with the industry’s leading photographers and designers in early 2000’s while Shakira Usman is renowned for her intricate sketches. Put together, both have over a decade worth of experience in the fashion industry. They came together in 2012 to start the brand which we now know as Saira Shakira.
Saira Shakira’s Zohra collection is now available for viewing by appointment at their flagship store located at Galleria mall, Lahore and at their Studio located at 140-C, Model Town, Lahore.
