Ace news anchor and face of 24 News HD, Samia Liaqat has quit channel 24 to move back to Karachi and join Dawn News.
Samia Liaqat who resigned from Channel 24 during the last week of July, has now officially declared that she has joined Dawn 24. Samia announced her joining Channel 24 on her instagram profile:

Samia Liaqat started her broadcast journalism career in 2010 with channel 5, and she joined Dawn News in 2012. Last year in October, Samia left Dawn News to move back to her hometown Lahore where now part of Channel 24. She has been a face of Channel 24 newscast team and anchored various transmissions during her stint with the channel, and now she has rejoiend Dawn News which she claims as her home away from home and her one of the claims to fame.
