Samia Liaqat Returns as the Host of Dawn News’ Ramzan Transmission, Ronaq-e-Ramazan

Ace news anchor and the face of Dawn News, Samia Liaqat, is once again set to lead the channel’s special Ramazan transmission, Ronaq-e-Ramazan. With a commitment to bringing spiritual, enlightening, and engaging content, this year’s program aims to be more insightful and interactive than ever before.

Samia, a well-established anchor at Dawn News, will be hosting her fifth Ramazan transmission. She made her debut as a host for Ronaq-e-Ramazan in 2020, a role that was widely appreciated by audiences and industry professionals alike. After a break in 2021, she returned in 2022 and has since continued to anchor the show, solidifying her presence in this special broadcast.

Speaking exclusively to MediaSpringPK, Samia shared her excitement about returning to the role. “Hosting this transmission is always an honor, but it also comes with immense responsibility. Each year, I strive to improve, to bring more depth and meaning to the discussions. It’s not just about presenting—it’s about connecting with the audience on a spiritual level.”

Reflecting on her experience, she added, “Every year, I discover new perspectives, not just in terms of hosting but also in my personal understanding of our religion and traditions. This time, I’m even more determined to make the show informative, inspiring, and engaging for our viewers.”

Emphasizing the importance of preparation and research, she noted, “A program like this demands more than just being on screen—it requires understanding, study, and the ability to deliver content that resonates with people. I want to ensure that viewers not only enjoy the transmission but also take away something meaningful from it.”

Samia Liaqat began her career in broadcast journalism in 2010 with Channel 5 before moving to Sach TV. She joined Dawn News in May 2013, where she has become one of the most recognizable faces in news media. Holding a degree in fine arts with a specialization in graphic designing from the University of Punjab, she brings a unique blend of creativity and journalistic expertise to her work.

With Samia at the helm once again, Ronaq-e-Ramazan on Dawn News promises to be a compelling and spiritually enriching experience for viewers throughout the holy month.
