News anchor turned TV presenter Sarwat Valim adds another feather to her hat as she starts hosting a morning show for 92 News HD Plus.
The face of 92 News’ flagship show Muqabil, Sarwat Valim was absent from the show which put her viewers and social media followers in suspicion as if she had also parted ways with 92 News. However, Sarwat herself cleared it on social media that she hasn’t left the channel but she is not part of team Muqabil anymore. Last week she hinted about starting a new show.

Sarwat has years of experience of hosting news and current affairs related show, however, this is going to be her first stint of hosting a morning show. While talking to MediaSpring Pk Sarwat said:
“As you know morning show is a race for rating but hopefully I will change this rating trend. My entire team is so determined to bring positive yet entertaining content. Insha Allah, You will see the difference.”
Sarwat Valim holds a degree of MSC in Film and TV production from Punjab University and started her career from City 42 as a news anchor. She also worked for Din Media Group before moving to Geo News where she was a news anchor at Lahore based Geo Tez. Her shot to fame was hosting Meray Mutabiq on Geo News which she started in 2012. She moved to Karachi to join news anchoring team of Geo News. In 2016, Sarwat Valim joined 92 News where after an initial stint of news anchoring she started hosting one of the highly rated shows of the channel, Muqabil.
