TV host and news anchor Seemal Hashmi hosted a special edition of the show City@10 for City 42 on Saturday.
The morning show was based on the topic of Pakistan vs India fixture in ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 to be held tomorrow. And to discuss the match preview notable sports journalists were invited on the show including Mr. Abdul Sattar Hashmi – a senior sports journalist and editor.
Mr. Hashmi is also father of Seemal Hashmi hence the show moved from cricket focused to Father’s Day special. Here is a heartening scene from the show:
Seemal Hashmi, while speaking to MediaSpring Pk said:
“it was totally un intentional and unplanned but yes the moment was very touching for me as I find it very cute now. Also me getting carried away shows the kind of bond I have with my father. He indeed is a great inspiration a wonderful father and a good friend.”
Seemal Hashmi hosted City@10 airs Monday to Saturday on City 42 at 10am.
