Pakistan and India ready to come together for ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ – the first of its kind fashion show. Huma Nassr, who is known as the first Pakistani entrepreneur in India, initiated Shaan e Pakistan. The fashion show will be featuring fashion designers from Pakistan and India. They will be sharing the stage in a cross-border cultural exchange.

While talking to IANS at her outlet in Delhi, Huma said:
“Designers from India and Pakistan will share the stage and exchange ideas as well. It will not be limited to the fashion only, but food and other items will also be showcased, I want the people of both countries to share their culture and improve relations”
Fashion Designers are invited to participate and showcase their collection in the #Fashion HUB of INDIA #ShaanEPakistan

The event will take place on 10th September in association with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).
Pakistan High Commission official said,
“These are initiatives taken by common people and we appreciate them. Cultural exchanges would help improve the relations between our people”
‘The Biggest Indo-Pak Fashion Event’ also features top Pakistani designer HSY (Hassan Sheheryar Yasin).

While talking about her experience in India Huma siad,
“I never feel unsafe here. I love to introduce my culture to the people here and I also take back Indian culture to Pakistan. Shaan-e-Pakistan will not stop here. We will take it to Pakistan and showcase Indian varieties there.”
Pakistani and Indian diplomats, politicians, musicians and artists would be a part of the launch event, which would be followed by a fashion show at The Grand hotel.
