Smart Cricket Teams up with Lahore Qalandars to give team a tech boost

Smart Cricket Global Ltd, the world’s first smart wearable company for cricket that has brought the next generation contactless motion capture technology to the real game arena have signed on as Technical Partners for the PSL franchise Lahore Qalandars.

With the partnership the UK based company hopes to help bring data and technology to the grassroots level in Pakistan cricket, “ The partnership is a natural one, we at Smart Cricket have always focused on the democratization of data , our goal is to ensure that every cricketer has access to their own data and the tools to use it to better their game, Lahore Qalandars has had some great initiatives in the past with recognizing talent and bringing it to the forefront, with our partnership we can now ensure that even more cricketers across Pakistan have access to technology in cricket” says Mohammed Ameen, Founder of Smart Cricket. Smart Cricket country director Qam Farooq signed the contract on behalf of Smart Cricket.

 

Smart Cricket’s pilot product is BatSense, a smart, wearable device that provides real-time, authentic data capturing every single element of batting be it a bat speed, shot efficiency, power etc. Mounted easily on the top of the bat handle, the device will send data directly to any smartphone. The app also includes features such as a 3D player avatar and video mode that will revolutionize the scope for players and coaches to analyses and improve.
