Pakistani actress Sohai Ali Abro, who recently did a Pakistani movie ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’, has said that no one can stop anyone from doing an item song.
Sohai Ali Abro said in in interview,
“if people did not like item songs, they are free not to watch them no one could stop others from doing the songs.”
In response to a question about Hamza Ali Abbasi’s objections over item songs, Sohai said that Hamza is a modest person and he would never stop someone else from doing any sort of work.
She also said that the reason Pakistanis disliked item songs so much was due to the fact that the film industry is in a growing stage, where people dislike any petty stuff. She said,
“An industry attains the topmost level due to a combination of good as well as bad work.”
Sohai has recently performed in a song ‘Fair and Lovely ka Jalwa’ from the movie ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’. She bagged a lot of praises from fans for her dancing skills. Directed by Nadeem Baig and co-produced by Humayon Saeed, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani has collected Rs 13 crore within two weeks of its release.
