Its a big day today as the much needed and talked about Sukkhur Multan Motorway project’ groundbreaking is taking place today. Renowned TV anchor and development activist Sidra Iqbal will be briefing the Prime Minister about this 329 km six-lane motorway and the 11 interchanges, and destinations it connects.
Sidra Iqbal said:
I am happy to be a part of the groundbreaking ceremony of Multan-Sukkhur Motorway which is part of the Karachi-Peshawar Motorway and a CPEC corridor.”
This 392km long motorway will be completed in 36 months and it is said to be a real game changer for Pakistan specially for Sindh, and Southern Punjab. The Sukkhur Multam Motorway will directly connect 11 interchanges namely; Multan – Zahirpir – Uch Sharif – Guddu – Bahadurpur – Jalalpur – Taranda M Panah – Sukkhur – Shujaabad – Pano Aqil – Ghotki.
It will create direct employment for nearly 10,000 Pakistanis.
The ground breaking ceremony will shortly be live on TV
