Deewangi enters its last leg of episodes and continues to bring in the viewers and TRPs. It remains one of the most-watched shows of Pakistan right now. Strong performances and a gripping narrative have made it such a fan favorite till today.
In the latest episode of Deewangi, Sultan’s obsession for Nageen becomes stronger when he sees her in Lahore. He tells about his chance encounter with Nageen to his friend, who advises him to forget since she will never forgive him. Sultan challenges him that she will forgive him and accept him back in her life. He doesn’t even care about the fact that she is married to someone else now.
Nageen falls into a bout of depression and stress because of not being able to conceive. The gynecologist where Haroon takes her to suggests that Nageen should see a psychiatrist. An irritant Nageen dismisses that idea and says she’s fine.
Sultan finds out all the information about Nageen and the family she’s married into, and he is hatching a new plan to get closer to Nageen.
On the occasion of Haroon’s birthday, Nageen prepares a feast for him and the family, but his mother insults her again for spending so much money on food for four people. Only this time, Nageen answers back to her and walks away.
In the evening, Nageen and Rida surprise him for his birthday, but he locks himself up in his room. The next morning, Nageen finds Haroon’s termination letter and understands why he was in such a bad mood. Haroon’s mother blames his unemployment on Nageen, but he defends her and blames his mother instead, for everything wrong that has happened in his life. He says she didn’t listen to him when he wanted to go to a reputable university for his MBA.
It is later revealed that it was Sultan who had gotten Haroon fired because he wanted Haroon to work for him. This was a part of his plan to get closer to Nageen.
Nageen receives an unsigned package and is surprised to see its contents. It has the same watch and dress that she had liked in the mall but couldn’t buy it because of the high prices. She discusses the package with her sister, who says it must be Haroon’s way of surprising her.
Sultan calls Haroon for an interview and hires him at the position of Bureau Chief. He offers him a high salary so that he wouldn’t be able to think about anything else. An elated Haroon breaks the news to his family. Everyone feels joyous to hear that, but Haroon’s idea of getting such a well-paying job just two days after getting fired doesn’t sit well with Nageen. She suspects there’s something wrong about the whole thing.
The next morning while leaving for work, Haroon finds the watch that was sent to Nageen, and he is just as surprised as her to see it. He thinks this was the birthday gift that Nageen had bought for him.
The latest episode tells us how Sultan’s craziness and obsession has remained the same for Nageen after all these years. He will go to any lengths to have her in his life. It will be interesting to see what he will do in the next few episodes to get her back. Fans are also excited to see the two of them coming face to face with each other.
