Larkana triumphed over Quetta by 15 runs in a thrilling encounter at NBP Stadium. Despite posting a modest 125, Larkana’s bowlers restricted Quetta to 110, ensuring a well-deserved victory. Meanwhile, Lahore Whites, led by Ahmed Shehzad’s brilliant 72 not out, comfortably chased down Karachi Blues’ 150, sealing their spot in the Super Eight stage.
Group B: Lahore Blues and Karachi Whites Emerge Victorious, Secure Super Eight Berths
Lahore Blues’ Qasim Akram and Imran Butt’s solid batting propelled them to a competitive total of 154-7 against Islamabad. Despite a spirited chase, Islamabad fell short by five runs, ensuring Lahore Blues’ qualification. In another match, Karachi Whites’ dominant bowling performance, led by Sohail Khan’s five-wicket haul, restricted Hyderabad to 102, securing an easy victory for Karachi Whites.
With these results, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad, Sialkot, and FATA also cemented their places in the Super Eight stage, setting the stage for intense clashes in the upcoming matches.
