One of the talented newscasters of Pakistan and former face of Dunya News, Amina Shah has joined Geo News after a brief stint at 24 News HD as news-anchor.
While talking to MediaSpring PK Amina Shah said,
“I have always looked for new challenges and learning opportunities. Dunya news has been a great learning experience. Now I am quite excited about joining Geo News, it is bigger channel therefore. I am taking it as not only a new learning experience but also a challenge to test my skills and abilities that I have acquired during my career in the media”

Amina Shah holds an honors degree in Mass Communications from Punjab University . She started her media career with Geo News as host of Rabi-ul-Awal transmission in 2014, later she also hosted Eid show for Pakistan Television (PTV) the same year. Later in 2014, she joined Dunya News and was part of their production team. However, in 2015, her broadcast journalism career started as Dunya News included her to their News Cast team. This year, in January 2017, Amina Shah left to join Channel 24 (24 News HD) for a brief stint as she left it after being hired by Geo News in February 2017. Recently she also did a modeling campaign for a bridal couture line.
It is pertinent to mention that multi talented broadcast journalist and news anchor Amina Shah is daughter of seasoned journalist Irshad Arif.
