Telenor Pakistan staged yet another event in Lahore to reinforce its position of leader in the digital invitation in the country. The Digital Fest 2016 was an event to celebrate innovations and idaea. At the festival Telenor’s digital world launched and showcased a range of striking digital products and solutions the operator has developed during the period of last two years.

There an engagement zone set up to showcase the products and their features in an interactive manner, an assisted walk-through of Digital Products was carried out to give the first-hand experience of all new digital products and solutions of Telenor Digital.
Man highlights of the live demo session was a cubic display of WowBox which is a content app that comes up with fresh entertainment and information content & also offers various deals of meal and shopping. The other major attraction was the app of Pocket TV which is a mobile TV app offering all the top and most wanted TV channels right on your phone with high quality stream.
At the engagement zone, there was also a holographic mannequin spoke to the visitors about all the things My Telenor App can do.

Speaking after the official media launch of the apps, Irfan Wahab Khan, Deputy CEO and CMO Telenor Pakistan, said,

Digital Fest also launched Social Care, a platform of customer to provide services & solutions online through social media. Another service that launched at the Digitel Fest was Digital SSC, which is an automated machine for performing various activities of GSM and Financial Services without human interaction.
Other major launches of the Digital Fest Digital IVR the mobile application to assist users calling on helpline and My Telenor that is one stop solution for all Telenor customers to manage their mobile accounts.

It is also noteworthy that Telenor, in Pakistan, has a credit of bringing various industry-first digital initiatives, such as IoT (Internet of Things) exhibitions, startup accelerator program Velocity, and Apportunity the mobile application development contest.
