The Fundraisers are back with bigger bargains and fun activities! Bargain Basement Sale to be held on Sunday 6th November

The Fundraisers are set to host their annual and much anticipated Bargain Basement Sale (BBS), #fundraisersBBS,  in Lahore on Sunday, 6^th of November 2016, from 11 AM – 4 PM at The Crystal Hall of Falettis Hotel. This year’s annual sale brings together over 215 of the most coveted Pakistani fashion and lifestyle brands all of whom have generously donated items to be sold at the event at heavily discounted prices.

Clothing items range from high end couture, bridals, semi-formal, and pret a porter pieces along with beautiful jewellery pieces, art, furniture and home accessories. This year also includes the addition of a unique Vintage Section, where pre-owned new and gently worn designer items can be purchased for charity along with antique pieces which one cannot find anymore. Those who have a love for international designers need to check out the vintage section where exquisite pieces by Louis Vuiton, Gucci, Valentino, Bally, Jimmy Choo, YSL and Cartier, but to name a few, will be on sale.  Pre loved clothing items donated by celebrities such as Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar will also be sold at heavily discounted prices. The Bargain Basement Sale is very happy to bring back  a curated art corner by My Art World Gallery from Islamabad who will be displaying the work of new and emerging contemporary artists at the sale. In addition, Lahore’s hottest new bakery, Pink Pistachio will be there to tempt  shoppers with delicious sandwiches and desserts in a café setup.

The BBS raffle is also on form with 100’s of great prizes including spa and restaurant vouchers, home goods, travel tickets, and even a washing machine. There will also be the annual auction where 10 high end items will be available for bidding. These include:

As always the purpose of BBS is to raise funds for various charities and causes doing exemplary work and who need help in raising funds. This year,#fundraisersBBS will be donating all monies raised from the sale to the following six charities: (a) Pink Ribbon Pakistan for breast cancer; (b) RS (Rising Stars) Foundation for the education of the underprivileged; (c) Bali Memorial Trust for old people’s homes, (d) Lahore Hospital Welfare society for the Shams Shahabuddin Convalescent Home; (e) Todds Welfare Society for prevention of cruelty to animals, and (f) The Giving Tree Foundation for providing comfort totes to cancer patients. The event is being kindly sponsored by Guard Filters and California Garden with PR by Lotus and a radio media partnership with City FM 89.

In 2015, the #fundraisersBBS raised PKR 5 Million 100% of which was distributed amongst four  charities. This year they are looking to raise even more funds to support their chosen causes. The Fundraisers Co-Founder, Nuria Rafique-Iqbal explains that “We are really excited at the Fundraisers for this years BBS. We have a more diversified product range and we have divided designer donations into different sections including Couture, Pret, Vintage, Home Decor, Ceramics, Accessories to make the shopping experience with BBS more enjoyable. A very welcome addition is our credit card facility which will be available for the big spenders.  We believe we have come a long way since the first BBS in 2005 and its wonderful to see that BBS has itself become a brand and we are truly thankful to all the brands who have supported us this year. We want BBS to be a platform for the fashion industry to build their corporate social responsibility.”
