Three Pakistani women were awarded at the first ever Femina Middle East Women Awards held at the Jumeirah Beach hotel in Dubai.
Awards were to celebrate contributions and hard work of women from various walks of lives. Among these winners was the Pakistan’s very won TV and film actress, Mahira Khan. The popular actress won the “Unstoppable Emerging Talent from Pakistan” award. Designer Farah Talib Aziz was awarded for being “Unstoppable in creative design” and was accompanied to the ceremony by her daughter and marketing genius behind the brand, Maliha Aziz. Pakistani astronaut Namira Salim bagged the “Unstoppable in Space Exploration award“.
Femina, India’s first and largest women’s English magazine, has long been the definitive life and style guide for progressive women. The magazine organized the Femina ME Women Awards 2016 to celebrate the successful completion of their Middle Eastern wing. The event was attended by a host of great women personalities from across the world. Mahira’s victory was not the only one for Pakistan at the awards.
