TV Producer Turned Presenter Ovais Mangalwala Leaves Hum News For 92 News

Ovais Mangalwala, a familiar face on Pakistani television, has left Hum News and his show “Subah Say Agay” to join 92 News as a new breakfast news show host for the channel. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, an MBA in Finance & Banking, and later studied theatre in Napa. Mangalwala’s first job was with Dawn News English, where he started off as a producer and worked on various documentaries before becoming a host.

In 2018, Ovais Mangalwala joined Hum News as a producer, but his talents were quickly recognized, and he was asked to audition for the morning show “Subah Say Agay.” His audition went well, and he got the show, which he co-hosted with Shiffa Yousafzai. Mangalwala’s on-screen chemistry with Yousafzai was a hit, and the show received a lot of praise from the audience.
