The dynamic news anchor and broadcast journalist Ubaid Ullah Siddiqui has made a triumphant return to ARY News, rejoining the network for his second stint. With a career spanning over ten years, Ubaid has established himself as a household name in the world of journalism.
Starting his media journey in Islamabad in 2014 as an RJ on FM 100 and a columnist in the Urdu daily Azkaar, Ubaid made his TV debut as a news presenter on Capital TV. He later joined Dunya News in 2015, where he spent almost six years and gained widespread recognition.
In January 2021, Ubaid left Dunya News to join ARY News, where he played a key role as a news anchor. After a brief stint, he moved to Lahore and joined 24 News in September 2022. His T20 World Cup special show with Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz was a huge success on the channel.
In December 2022, Ubaid joined PNN (now Aik News) as a news anchor and program host, playing a crucial role in the Aik News launch in January 2023. He hosted the evening news roundup show “Newsroom” on PNN and was an instrumental figure on the screen.
Besides, his role as a news anchor he also creates content for his followers on social media and digital space, he also lends his voice or appears in ads for a few brands occasionally.
Now, Ubaid has returned to his hometown Karachi, rejoining ARY News as an anchor since May 20.
