Unzila is has studied business and she started her broadcast journalism career in 2016 with Koh e Noor TV. At KN TV she was a newscaster as well as hosted the morning show for the channel too in 2017.
In 2017, she joined City News Network and after a stint of almost a year, she moved to Pakistan’s first HD news channel, 92 News in 2018. In 2019 parted ways with 92 News to be part of Aap News.
In 2020, after Aap News gone off air, Unzila returned to 92 News and remained with the channel for more than a year and a half. Unzila is a part of GNN since October 2021.
