Pakistan’s aggressive batter Usman Khan has made history by setting a new national record for the fastest double century in List A cricket. Representing Eshaal Associates in the President’s Cup, Usman achieved this remarkable feat against SNGPL at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium.
The 31-year-old reached his double century in just 131 balls, surpassing the previous record held by Sharjeel Khan, who completed his 200 in 133 balls while playing for Sindh in 2022. Usman ultimately retired after scoring 201 runs off 132 deliveries, leaving the field to a standing ovation for his incredible performance.
This match marked Usman’s 10th List A appearance, and he has already accumulated 652 runs at an impressive average of 81.5. His List A career now includes one double century, one century, and four half-centuries. By reaching the 200-run milestone, Usman Khan has become the seventh Pakistani cricketer to achieve a double century in List A cricket, joining an elite club that features Fakhar Zaman, Abid Ali, Mohammad Ali, Sharjeel Khan, Kamran Akmal, and Khalid Latif.
