FATA Region clinched the title of the Inter-Region U16 Tournament 2022-23 by defeating Lahore Region by 29 runs, thanks to an unbeaten century from Usman Khan.
FATA Region scored 216-7 in 44 overs after being asked to bat, with Usman Khan top-scoring with 117 off 140 deliveries.
Lahore Region was dismissed for 187 in the 42nd over, with Aliyan Salman scoring an undefeated 69 off 97 deliveries.
Usman Khan was named the player of the match and the tournament for his all-round performance, scoring 237 runs and taking 11 wickets. Aliyan Salman was named the best batter of the tournament, while Taj Mohammad was named the best bowler of the tournament. Hamza Zahoor was named the best wicketkeeper of the tournament, and Huzaifa Ahsan was named the best fielder of the tournament.
FATA Region received PKR 350,000 as the winning prize, while Lahore Region received PKR 250,000 as the runners-up cash prize.
