Visiting Army Museum was a very patriotic experience: Hina Niazi on Defence Day special of Mera Pakistan

TV presenter, model and social media influencer, Hina Niazi has been shining with her new TV assignment, Mera Pakistan segment of Expresso – the morning show of Express News. Mera Pakistan segment in Expresso highlights history, culture, landmarks and a lot more about Pakistan.

As part of Defence Day special edition of Expresso, Hina Niazi took the viewers to Lahore’s Army Museum.

Talking about her Army Museum visit and Defence Day special show, Hina Niazi said:

“I felt very patriotic thought the shoot of this special show of Mera Pakistan. The museum really impressed me. Schools and colleges must make trips to this museum as it tells a great deal of Pakistan’s history and military history of the country.  It was heart-touching to see the depiction of post partition time of 1947. Seeing the jeep of Maj Gen Niranjan Prasad, captured by 18 Baluch Regt on 8 September 1965, gave me goosebumps.

Talking about upcoming editions of Mera Pakistan Hina said:

“I am traveling to Karachi for the upcoming editions of Mera Pakistan, since the segment is about Pakistan and how can it be complete if it is not featuring Karachi. I am excited about the spell in the biggest city of Pakistan. Viewers should also stay tuned to see the city, culture, and history of it as never seen before.”

 

 

Hailing from Mianwali Hina Niazi holds a degree in English Literature from Kinnaird College, Lahore. She started her TV career in 2017 with Dunya News as the co-host of Mazaaq Raat. In 2018 she joined, then newly launched, GNN and hosted the hit TV programme Joke Dar Joke till earlier this year.

Hina who hosted Eid show for A Plus, Milan Hai Eid after a three-month-long break from TV screen since leaving her show Joke Dar Joke on GNN.
