Excitement is mounting in the Pakistani cinema sphere as the highly-anticipated film “Daghabaaz Dil” gears up for its grand debut on the silver screen this Eid Ul Fitr. Helmed by acclaimed director Wajahat Rauf and featuring a powerhouse trio of Mehwish Hayat, Ali Rehman Khan, and Momin Saqib, the film is a joint production venture between Hum Films and Showcase Films, promising a special treat for movie enthusiasts.
Under Rauf’s expert direction and with a script penned by Mohsin Ali, “Daghabaaz Dil” is poised to deliver an enthralling fusion of romance and intricate human dynamics. Produced by Badar Ikram and Shazia Wajahat, the film is anticipated to captivate audiences as a true cinematic spectacle.
Initially perceived as a conventional Eid release, the teaser for Rauf’s latest venture hinted at a typical “Shaadi Film” narrative. However, the recently unveiled trailer has unveiled a refreshing twist to the storyline.
Mehwish Hayat essays the role of an independent woman coerced into marriage by her parents, with Ali Rehman Khan portraying her reluctant cousin groom and Momin Saqib as his friend vying for her affection. The film boasts a stellar supporting cast including Babar Ali, Saleem Sheikh, Beo Zafar Rana, Tazeen Hussain, Laila Wasti, and Michelle Mumtaz, promising a gripping tale.
Adding an intriguing supernatural element, Hayat’s character, Zoya, is rumored to be haunted or possessed by Jinns, introducing an unexpected dimension to the narrative.
With the enigmatic Ali Zaryoun making a surprising appearance, the trailer tantalizingly holds back, inviting audiences to experience the mystery firsthand in theaters.
“Daghabaaz Dil” stands out as the sole major release from Pakistan this Eid Ul Fitr, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience for viewers.
