Newly appointed captain of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in on going Pakistan Cup 2016, Ahmed Shahzad spoke about the incident of breaking glass door of dressing room in ARY News’ afternoon news show News @ 3. While talking to News Anchor of the show, Maria Memon, opening batsman said that it was an accident that the glass door shattered after being hit by his bat.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) punished Ahmed Shehzad, on Monday, over breaking the dressing room glass of Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad after he failed to reach his century during a Pakistan Cup game against Balochistan..

As per repots, opening batsman Ahmed Shahzad got furious after being dismissed at 79 and broke the glass of a dressing room in the stadium. Ahmed Shehzad scored 79 runs from 70 balls after hitting 10 boundaries in the game.

Pakistan Cricket Board took notice of the incident and has asked Shehzad to get the glass fixed with his own match fee.

Ahmed Shehzad has denied that he broke the glass intentionally. He also said that batsmen, most throw their bats into their bags. He said that his cricket bag was kept against the glass in the dressing room.
