Established in 1994, Shama is a renowned brand in Ghee & Cooking Oil industry manufactured & packed by HGGM,OW & AIL under the umbrella of International Multi Group of Company.

IMGC is a progressive Business House operating in Pakistan with offices in key regions like U.A.E, Malaysia, Jordan and U.S.A. IMGC started its operations in 1984 with a Date Factory at Sukkur, Pakistan. Company’s annual turnover is USD 200 Million and has 2000 employees.

The Group has three state of the art Industrial units manufacturing Ghee and Cooking Oil at Nowshera, Multan, and Karachi and one textile unit at Jehlum covering 70% of its total portfolio.

Oil World Pvt Ltdis 3rd refinery located in Karachi which also produces Shama Cooking Oil & Banaspati.

The group is engaged in import, export and local sale of its Ghee, Cooking Oil and textile products through established network of sales and marketing all over Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Group is also engaged in supply of food and non-food items to UN Agencies and International NGOs, covering around 20% of its portfolio, for IDPs at Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. The Group has so far supplied items worth US $ 250 million and carries the reputation of most trust worthy supplier for these international organization keeping in view religious and cultural needs of Halal Food and nutrition values.

IMGC Entertainment portfolio of 10% includes import of Hollywood and Bollywood lms and their distribution all over Pakistan. Over 50% of market share of these films is with IMGC during the last few years. The Group has recently entered into Joint Venture with Greek Company Tanweer, with its office at Dubai for import of Hollywood films and their distribution in SAARC and Asia Pacific region. The Group is also investing in establishing Cineplexes in the country.

The Group in addition to its core business is heavily engaged in Research and Development through its industrial units. The Group is also involved in community assistance program by establishing schools and hospital dispensaries at its units providing free education and health facilities to its employees and community around those units.

IMGC, as part of its activities, keeps diversifying its business activities and has recently started solar housing systems in collaboration with business partners based on Canadian and Chinese technologies.
