Women’s National Selection Committee Names 20 Probables for West Indies Series

The women’s national selection committee, headed by Saleem Jaffar, has announced a list of 20 probables for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies women. The series, comprising three ODIs and five T20Is, is slated to be held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from 18 April to 3 May.

Returning to the fold are Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroza, Rameen Shamim, Sidra Nawaz, and Tuba Hassan, who have earned their places based on impressive performances in the domestic circuit. Notably, Omaima Sohail and Shawaal Zulfiqar have been omitted from the camp probables due to ongoing recovery from a shoulder injury.

The selection committee, in collaboration with the team’s captain and interim head coach, will finalize the 15-member squad for the ODI series during the camp in Karachi. The remaining five players from the probables camp will be released to participate in the domestic Women’s One-Day Tournament.
