Zaman Khan, Pakistan’s new fast bowler, recently shared his passion for cricket during an interview. He revealed that he used to play cricket even when he was not feeling well as a child.
Despite struggling initially with his round arm action, Khan’s passion for the game eventually led him to win the Pakistan Super League (PSL) twice for Lahore Qalandars. He even shared that he used to play cricket secretly, as he initially started as a labourer like most of his family.
Khan said that cricket gave him a lot, including financial stability. He was initially sad when he thought his cricket career was over due to his age, but winning the best emerging award in PSL made him realize he could represent Pakistan. His goal is to represent Pakistan and also create an academy for young cricketers in his area.
