Zong 4G hosts students from Gwadar University for a Cultural Exchange Program

As part of the Chinese Embassy’s Cultural Exchange Program, Zong 4G organised a comprehensive tour of their CSC in Islamabad for aspiring students from Gwadar University on December 14. Members of the Chinese Embassy and the Pakistan-China Institute attended the event, which was hosted by members of MFS, Zong CSC Team and PR Department.

The students were invited to Zong 4G’s official Islamabad Customer Service Center, where they were shown how the different operations in the centre are carried out. They were then given a presentation on Zong’s history, network coverage, and other milestones. The talented students then went on to engage in an interactive session with our team about the challenges faced in their region. The discussion was extremely practical and beneficial, and methods for addressing their concerns and bringing them into the digital era were discussed.

Muhammad Hassan Ali, Manager of Digital Communications (PR and CSR), led the presentation to the students. The excellent COVID response of Zong 4G was also highlighted in the presentation. Zong 4G expanded on its organisational values by explaining how they operate as an employer to the students. During the pandemic, most MNCs and large corporate employers reduced their workforce, but Zong 4G managed to give out more jobs and make the transition to ‘work from home’ protocols as smooth as possible for their existing teams.
